TAKE FIVE

The Brief
Create a logo for "Take Five" a jazz lounge themed after the music scene of the Harlem Renaissance.
The Process
Taking in research of the popular clubs during the Harlem Renaissance period and renders of the look and feel that "Take Five" would have, I took rough thumbnail sketches into Adobe Illustrator create the final logo. In this logo execution, the goal was to incorporate typography and colors that felt like they could be from that period and including musical elements into the logo mark like the musical note and piano keys.
