The Brief
Create a printed bi-fold insert to accompany a direct mail piece advertising cruises to Japan.
The Process
This project started sketching the overall concept out on paper to convey the idea and direction to the Creative Director and project stakeholders. From there, the custom cherry blossom pattern along with the overall suitcase illustration was created in Adobe Illustrator. Once the initial design of the suitcase design was created, it was then taken into Adobe Photoshop to receive shading and texturing. Finally after all of the illustrative elements had been created, the artwork was taken into Adobe Indesign for typesetting the informational copy inside of the suitcase insert along with creating the die-cut lines to inform the print vendor how the final printed insert should appear.
